Before care
Cohen was in distress almost anytime he was in the car. “He was crying, screaming in the car seat anytime I went anywhere,” his mom, Riley, shared. “It made everyday life really hard — trying to have a conversation, go to the store, or even just get out of the house meant managing a screaming baby in the back seat.”
From the beginning, Cohen had struggled with irritability, reflux, and tension. “He kind of had colic when he was little. His reflux made him uncomfortable, and we noticed the left side of his head wasn’t developing evenly. The nutritionist told us to get him off his head, but his neck was so tight. That wasn’t easy.”
When nothing was working
Having navigated similar challenges with her older son, Riley tried all the usual tricks. “We tried doing the same things we did with our first — but they just weren’t working for Cohen. That’s when I realized: my hands are tied. We need someone else who can help him feel better.”
Finding answers
Their first scans at Ideal Family Chiropractic brought clarity. “After talking to Dr. Tyler and seeing the scans, it just made a lot of sense. I wasn’t really surprised — but it was validating to finally see what was going on underneath.”
How things changed
The shift didn’t happen overnight — Cohen was also teething in those first weeks — but change came. “It probably took a couple of weeks to really notice a difference. But then, all of a sudden, the screaming started to settle. He was just… more comfortable.”
Life now
Now, things look completely different. “Much happier. Less stressful,” Riley said. “We can drive down the road and he’s happy — looking at his brother, playing with toys. I’m not constantly anticipating the next meltdown. It’s a huge shift.”
